Self-Service Paper Shredding

Residential Self-Service Shredding 

Starting September 1, 2024, Williamson County Recycling will offer free self-service shredding to the residents of Williamson County.

Where?  At the Williamson County Recycling Center located at 5760 Pinewood Road, Franklin, TN 37064

When?  Every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Who?  The residents of Williamson County

Cost?  Free for Williamson County residents

How?  The free paper shredding service will now be self-serve. Residents will personally feed paper into a one inch (1") slot in the paper shredder. 

It is safe to include staples and paper clips with your paper in the shredder. 

Please remove large metal clamps and binder clips from your paper as these are too large for the shredder. 

 

Commercial Self-Service Shredding

Access for commercial business will be by appointment only and at a cost of $5.00 (five dollars) per banker box. Please make an appointment via text with Randy James at (828) 231-8533. Businesses should expect a return text/call by 4 p.m. daily on Mondays through Fridays.
