Mattress Recycling Drop-off Location for Williamson County Commercial Haulers.
Landfill Convenience Center
5750 Pinewood Road
Franklin, TN 37064
Beginning April 1st, 2024, Williamson County will no longer accept mattresses or box springs at the landfill. Commercial haulers should separate mattresses and box springs from their load. Haulers can recycle mattresses and box springs at the Landfill Convenience Center and should plan to pay the $20 disposal fee per item via credit or debit for any mattress or box spring in the load. Should a hauler refuse to cooperate, it could result in the company being banned for a determined amount of time at solid waste director’s discretion. We appreciate your collaboration to extend the Williamson County Landfill’s lifespan.
Mattress Drop-off Instructions:
- Arrive at the center attendant office and pay via credit card or debit card.
- The center attendant will direct you to Spring Back Recycling's 53-ft trailer. Residents are responsible for loading their mattress and box spring correctly into the trailer. Mattresses and box springs should be walked to the back of the trailer and stacked neatly.
- A Spring Back team member picks up the trailer weekly to empty and process the mattresses at their facility.
Pricing and Payment Options:
- Williamson County residents pay $20.00 per mattress & $20.00 per box spring.
- We accept Credit or Debit Cards only. (NO Cash)
“We appreciate the community’s cooperation to extend the Williamson County Landfill’s lifespan. Mattresses take up space, are slow to break down, and emit harmful gases as they decompose. There are substantial environmental and economic benefits to recycling mattresses, especially when landfill avoidance costs are taken into consideration.”
- Mac Nolen, Williamson County Solid Waste Director
