The Williamson County Election Commission is pleased to announce that it has relocated to a more spacious office building located at 405 Downs Boulevard in Franklin. The Election Commission will conduct daily operations at this location as well as any early voting which always begins twenty (20) days prior to any election.
“The members of the Election Commission and the Election Commission staff are excited about our new office space and the new location on Downs Boulevard,” stated Chad Gray, Administrator of Elections, “historically, our office has only occupied two structures in its existence, the historic Williamson County Courthouse and more recently, since the late 1980s, a portion of the Williamson County Administrative Complex Office. We are glad that we have a larger facility and parking area for our voters and the public.”
The Election Commission is gearing up for a busy 2022 election cycle. Beginning Monday, December 20th, candidates seeking election for any county office on the May 3, 2022, Republican or Democratic County Primary & August 4, 2022, County General Election may be issued a candidate qualifying petition. Offices on the ballot will include all Williamson County Board of Commissioners, County School Board (even
numbered districts), Franklin Special School District Board Members (Vote for Three), County Mayor, County Clerk, Trustee, Register of Deeds, Circuit Court, General Sessions & Juvenile Court Judges, District Attorney General, Public Defender, & Clerks of Court.
