Grassland Village Special Area Plan

WHY DO WE PLAN?
The Grassland Village Special Area Plan is a direct result of the comprehensive planning efforts undertaken by Williamson County in its Comprehensive Land Use Plan, adopted in August of 2007.  The Plan is not intended to bring about new development, but rather is intended to ensure that if, and when, new development does occur, such a development is consistent with the desired character, as expressed by the community and as outlined in the Plan.

For an opportunity to stay up-to-date on the Plan and its process, as well as ask questions and provide feedback, please "Like" the Grassland Village Special Area Plan Facebook page.  We look forward to hearing your thoughts!

REVIEW THE PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT STANDARDS

One of the primary directives from the Plan is to create a set of development (zoning) standards for the Village, to help implement the Plan.

Following the adoption and endorsement of the Grassland Village Special Area Plan last Spring, County Staff and the Grassland Citizens Advisory Committee have been hard at work drafting a set of Development Standards to help make the Plan a reality.  These standards will be presented as a proposed zoning map and text amendment during two upcoming public hearings.
