Williamson County Parks & Recreation is offering a fencing clinic at the Indoor Arena @ Crockett Park in Brentwood.
The clinic will run in a wheel format, the format will restart every month. The class will be ninety minutes long including a warm-up, group instruction and free practice.
Classes: Wednesdays & Thursdays
6:00-7:30 PM 8-12 years old
7:30-9:00 PM 13 years & older
The instructor will be Doug Harris.
- Doug Harris attended the U.S. Fencing Associations Coaches Collage at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, CO.
- He was given the title Prevost de’ Arms by the U.S. Fencing Coaches Assoc.
- In his 15+ year career, coach Harris has coached 2 U.S. National teams at the World Championships and the World Cup.
- His students have won 6 U.S. National Championships and 8 students have earned spots on Team U.S.A.
- Doug has coached 2 NCAA National Champions and over 30 nationally ranked athletes.
