Magistrate Jacques Cabell graduated from Springfield High School in Springfield, Tennessee and completed his undergraduate degree at Tennessee State University. Following college Jacques joined the United States Marine Corps where he completed two deployments to the Middle East before his honorable discharged. Following his service in the Marines, Jacques worked for the Tennessee Department of Children’s Services where he investigated child abuse and served as a liaison to the Juvenile Court system.
While working for DCS, Jacques received his juris doctorate from Nashville School of Law. His practice has included family law, criminal law, and representing law enforcement officers through the Police Benevolence Associates. Jacques is a member and contributor to non-profit organizations in the Middle Tennessee area. Jacques and his wife Tiajuana live in Middle Tennessee.
