The Williamson County Sheriff’s Office accepts applications for all positions on a continual basis. Listed below are the positions currently available and a link to the main duties and job requirements for each.

WCSO Sheriff’s Deputy Detention Division
Oversees the daily operations within the facility and ensures that security is maintained. Conducts searches, investigations, transports, and reports as needed to document daily events. Deputy Detention Division

WCSO Civilian Food Services Staff
Responsible for working alongside and supervising the inmates during daily food preparation, inventorying of produce and supplies, and ensuring compliance with all state standards of cleanliness regarding a kitchen environment. Civilian Food Services Staff

WCSO Civilian Booking Specialist
Responsible for entering all arrestee information into the correct computer system, accepting bonds, conducting criminal history checks, and processing individuals for release from custody. Civilian Booking Specialist

WCSO School Crossing Guard Part-Time
Applicants must be at least 21 years old and must pass a criminal background check. Uniforms will be provided. Position is part time with starting pay at $20.00 an hour. 

WCSO Maintenance Technician
Perform inspections, repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance within the jail facility. This also includes inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems as needed. Maintenance Technician
